We welcome our newest addition to our little family....Stella!!! As you
know, we have been waiting to bring home this sweet little bundle of
fur for a while now and we were finally able to 2 weeks ago! Although
she has been such a good puppy, she has definitely
given us - and Bailey, a run for our money! She is super clumsy and
gets into everything but she is just so darn cute you cant help but say
"awww!!" Stella is a Goldendoodle - Golden Retriever and Poodle mix.
She is currently 2 1/2 months old and pretty much the same size as Bailey
already! She has already grown since we have had her! Speaking of Bailey, he absolutely loves her! He has
completely taken on his "big" brother role and makes sure he keeps her
in line. They play and play all day until they just get so tired they
fall asleep on each other! We couldn't be happier to have 2 amazing
pups in our lives!
My sleepy little family!!
Bestest Buddies....
Stella wanted to help me organize the filing cabinet...ha.
Bailey being his normal self....KING of the yard...
As I have spoke of before, and like many people in America, I have had
ZERO luck finding a job. Several people have recommended selling things
or starting my own businesses and honestly, I never took them
seriously. Finally, after being completely fed up with the job market, I
began looking seriously at selling something. Lets face it, I can't
make anything that is worth selling so that led to looking at companies that
make the product for me. Scentsy was my answer! I am proud to announce
that I am officially a Scentsy Independent Consultant! If you are not
familiar with Scentsy, it is a wax warmer system that smells super good!
There are all kinds of different products for all your needs- including
a bath and body line called Layers. I definitely recommend checking it
out...you will be hooked! I have had so much fun with it so far and am
doing quite well! It feels so good to be doing SOMETHING again!

As for our adventures......
This past weekend was the Air Show on base! The USAF Thunderbirds made an appearance and there was even a Combat Search and Rescue Demo. It was all super exciting and they had a great turnout! (Thank you to Jamie Orozco for some of the great photos!)
As you may remember, we lived in Pensacola for a little while which so happened to be where the Blue Angels are based. Seeing (and hearing) the Thunderbirds brought back a lot of memories!! Very cool!!

The Combat Search and Rescue Demo... In these pictures, the HC-130 is refueling the helicopters. This is most of Neal's mission! He navigates the plane, that refuels the helicopters, that goes out and rescues people!
A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Annual Hahira Honeybee Festival! This was just a small town festival that had lots of vendors and activities as well as the largest parade in South Georgia! We went specifically for the parade and was pretty impressed! There were so many people there - especially for a small town festival! It was a fun little thing to do! Oh and of course, we had to get some locally made honey!!

That's about all for now! Thanks for reading! :)

Our latest happenings!!
I guess we thought things would slow down after we got settled into our new home....we sure were wrong! We have been busy as ever - Neal at work, and me, trying to get a job (no luck yet) and going back to school for Pharmacy Tech. All is well, though, and we are definitely fitting in nicely.
Here are a few pics of Neal's plane - HC-130 on the flight line...
Our house is getting more and more settled in everyday. I think only one room is exactly how I want it and that is the dining room... I'm pretty proud of it. My very own DINING ROOM!! More pics to come of the rest of the house....
We have already had some visitors! Neal's friends from back home - Craig, Michael, and Derrick. They spent a whole week with us and we had a great time...even though Neal had to work most of the time, we made do! At the end of the week, all five of us packed up and headed to Jacksonville, FL for the weekend! It was about a 2 hour drive to our hotel on the beach from our house. We had a nice relaxing weekend just laying on the beach! We are so happy to be close to the beach again!
Here are some pics of the beach!
We got back Saturday afternoon and the guys left Sunday. We weren't home too many days until I got some news the Thursday before Labor Day weekend that my Grandmother had to be put in the hospital. She has been sick for many years with heart problems and had been in and out of the hospital several time in the past year. However, this time was not looking too good. Neal took emergency leave and we were headed back home to Missouri the next day. Two days later, on September 1st, my Mema Phyllis passed away. She has been hurting for so long, it is good to know that she is no longer in pain. We were always very close, people always said we acted alike - whether that was a good thing or bad (I consider good). The last few times I was home we talked about our favorite memories.. when I was little, I would go over to her house and watch Bozo the Clown while she made me these yummy little sausages drenched in syrup. What else would you expect at Grandma's house? She was a wonderful lady who will always be deeply loved...and is probably causing a little bit of trouble wherever she is. Well, I guess I did get THAT from her....

My grandma's longtime companion, and basically my grandfather, passed away last winter- only a few weeks after our wedding. Good to know they are back together....
For some exciting news, we are happy to announce a new addition to our little family!! Haha, and its not what you think! We are getting a new PUPPY! Stella, now only a little over 1 month old, is a black Goldendoodle! We finally get to meet the litter in a week & 1/2 and she will be ready to bring home mid-october. We are so excited to have another puppy, for us, and for Bailey to play with. For those of you who don't know what a Goldendoodle is, they are a hybrid mix of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. Basically, you get the great personality and loyalty of a Golden Retriever, and they won't shed - from the Poodle. They also make great hunting dogs which Neal is VERY exciting about! Here are some pics...
This was right after they were born...
These are the pups now!!
That's about all for now!! Thanks for reading! :)
